About the course
The book of Job invites us to question God and the order of the world through the eyes of a righteous person who suffers.
This lecture explores the clash between traditional wisdom about reward and punishment and wisdom drawn from lived experience, asking how far Job allows us to question God.
Rather than seeking a final answer to theodicy and suffering, follow Job's journey of crying out and protesting without abandoning God, and reflect on your own wounds and questions.
